Genevieve Amidoras Bones nee Vaupien was born in Provence, France on July 3, 1998. Upon being born, she had a two year old brother. Liam was born during the Second Wizarding War, and he had been on the run with their parents, Linus and Pandora. The Vaupiens were strongly opposed to Voldemort and his followers. Although the war primarily was set in Britain and Scotland, it did travel to France. Pandora was forced to forget some of her old friends due to the fact that she and Linus were Pureblood wizards, and they held different views than the couple. Pandora and Linus ran away with Liam, and stayed on the run until the war was over in May of 1998.
Things gradually got normal, but a glitter of happiness literally was born from the darkness in their hearts as they gave birth to Genevieve in early July of that year. With the birth of their daughter, the Vaupiens returned to their home of Provence to find that both of their parents had been murdered. Pandora and Linus, both workers for the Ministry, transferred to Britain's Ministry. They wanted to escape the tragedy that had fallen upon them, as well as protect the root where the horror started so it would never happen again.
Genevieve and her brother practically grew up in London, but their family was incomplete as two years later, another daughter was born. Henrietta joined their midst and was welcomed just fine by Liam and Vivi. They took care of their little sister at ages four and two, respectfully. Normal childhood took place upon each of them, and six years later, Linus and Pandora had their final baby girl, Isabella. With the birth of Izzy, the Vaupien family was complete. Liam went off to Hogwarts the following year, which Vivi was extremely sad about. She didn't want to see her big brother go, but two years later she joined him and was back to her normal self.
She was sorted into Hufflepuff and introduced to all of her brother's friends, including one Geoffrey Bones. She and Geoff instantly hit it off, and she developed a strong friendship with him quickly. By her third year, when Henrietta joined them at Hogwarts, Vivi and Geoff were best friends. Geoff and Liam still maintained a close friendship, but Viv tended to steal Geoffrey away. Years went by, and Jen continued to do well in school, particularly in potions. She had a passion for chemistry components and knowing what was behind them. As such, potions came naturally to Genevieve. She continued to excel in it for the rest of her years at Hogwarts.
Although she and Geoff only dated during her seventh year, they swiftly got engaged shortly after her graduation. Genevieve and Geoffrey knew they would be a great couple not only because of their deep friendship, but because of their love for one another and the fact they each had goals set for themselves. They wanted to help each other achieve those goals. After years of expert study, Vivi and Geoffrey became staff at Hogwarts. Genevieve became the Head of Hufflepuff house the past year, and Geoffrey became Head of Ravenclaw two years prior.
Genevieve is currently six months pregnant with twins, though Geoff only knows about one. Their plan is to continue teaching, and have the nurses in the Hospital Wing watch over their children when Vivi's siblings can't do the honors. Genevieve is carefully waiting her time until a special occasion to tell Geoffrey the startling, but hopefully good, news.
