Late in the winter of January 1996, while on the run from the Dark Lord Voldemort, former Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement Amelia Bones secretly gave birth to a son unknown to anyone but her and a few whom she knew she could trust within the Order of the Phoenix. The father disappeared (now presumed dead) beforehand leaving Amelia no choice but to give her son up for his own protection not wanting him to suffer the same fate that her brother Edgar's children did back during the First Wizarding War. Amelia met her demise at the hands of Lord Voldemort himself that very summer, the existence of her son unknown to the Dark Lord.

Geoffrey's adoptive parents were very loving to the young boy, raising him as if he were their own flesh and blood, just like his biological mother wouldve wanted for them to do. They went into hiding for the next two years to remain hidden from the Dark Lord up until the world knew of his demise at the hands of Harry Potter, the boy of legend. Eagerly returning to London to resume their everyday life, they would then tell the other remaining Bones family members of Geoffrey's existance, though would remain his guardians to grant Amelia's wishes. His magical ability began to show itself at the proper age, mainly in levitating things to himself that he wanted but couldnt reach due to his height an early sign of his natural talent in charms. Upon his 11th birthday, Geoffrey recieved a letter in the post: his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a famed school his "parents" had been telling him about as he neared his birthday. Like every other child who would be attending as first years, and even older students, Geoffrey and his family made a trip to Diagon Alley where they would purchase the necessary items on the list. It was that very day that Geoffrey was presented with his Rowan wand, and bought his pet owl which he named Oreo for his spotted feathers.

The summer passed, with quite the funny story of how he'd nearly set the kitchen on fire due to the uncontrollable magical ability in him, and on came time for the new term to begin. Upon boarding the Hogwarts Express, Geoff found himself an empty compartment quite easily due to how early they'd arrived at the platform. It wasn't much later that he was approached by another first year by the name of Liam who asked if he could share the compartment with him in which Geoffrey agreed, entertained by the young boy's foreign French accent. During the course of the train ride, Geoffrey and Liam became more acquainted with another which started their friendship, unknown to the two then just what would happen in later years as a result. When it came time to put on the Sorting Hat, the hat paused for a moment, speaking out loud on his inner debate on just where to place Geoffrey. He debated between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, leaning toward Hufflepuff because of how it ran through the Bones' bloodline to be placed there, though eventually chose Ravenclaw as he took a deeper read into the boys mind.

Though placed in different houses, that didn't stop Geoffrey's friendship with Liam, and the two became much closer throughout the year, sharing fun times together and even getting into a bit of trouble here and there. By the end of the year, Geoffrey left school with a new best-friend, who he would keep in contact with over the summer break. It wasn't until his third year that Liam informed Geoffrey that his younger sister was finally joining him at Hogwarts, asking Geoffrey for his help in watching her and helping to keep her out of trouble and such to which Geoffrey agreed to do. When he got a chance to meet young Genevieve, the only thing he can remember is how captivated by the girl's beauty he was, having never seen someone so beautiful in his young years. Immediately the two took to each other, though Geoffrey remained a fair distance from her out of respect of Liam though there were times the two were caught in the other's company. Throughout his years at Hogwarts, Geoff retained great grades, surely good enough to make his way high up into the Ministry like his mother before him. Having been named Prefect his 5th year, and one of the candidates for Head Boy in his 7th (though he lost that position to another student), Geoffrey was an excellent student, well liked by many teachers even those who hadnt had the opportunity to teach him. Due to his talents in the field of Charms, Geoffrey earned the attention of the Charms Master of Hogwarts upon his graduation, in which the Professor took the young boy under his wing and began to teach him advanced Charms not taught in Hogwarts nor in Charms club, truly passing on his skills to whom he felt would be his successor in the position. Though at the same time, Geoffrey would be working as an intern in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement under the Head Hit Witch at the time.

During that same year, Geoffrey's parents decided to tell him about his real mother, Amelia and why she'd given him up to them as a child. Though completely devestated by such news of his mother and her death, Geoffrey found himself thankful for the decision she'd made to save his life before her own was taken months later. At the age of 19, Geoffrey and his long time crush Genevieve began dating while she was going through her seventh year of schooling. Though a strained relationship without being able to see each other but on weekends when they were allowed to visit Hogsmeade Vilaage, but the two made it work, Geoffrey mustering up the courage to ask for her hand in marriage (with her father, and Liam's permission of course) not very long after she herself graduated from Hogwarts. Though married young, the two were much in love and supported in each others dreams, putting off the act of having children in order to accomplish said goals first before they would bring children into the world.

Eventually Geoffrey was informed of the Charms professor's retirement through the post, and that the Headmistress of the time, Minerva McGonagall wanted to meet up with him in Hogsmeade so the two of them could talk. During the meeting she told him of how the Charms professor had informed her of a brilliant student of his whom he'd been mentoring over during the summers while away from the school and how he felt that he would be perfect for the position. Minerva asked him if he would consider taking the position, in which Geoffrey instantly accepted. It'd been his dream to become Charms Master of Hogwarts, and now it was finally happening. A year later, his wife joined on to the staff as the Potions Master. Currently the two own a proud home in Spinner's End, and are expecting their first child together.

rp example: Today had been quite an exhausting one for Reese, as he felt he'd been all over the school an hadn't had any time to rest his tired bones all day long. Quite excited when the sun had fallen ending the classes for the day, Reese knew it'd be a long night as well because he needed to studying for some of his classes that had set an assignment and he still needed some research on the subject to ensure that he'd known everything about the subject before he even let his quill touch the parchment.

With a wave of his wand, Reese watched his large black colored towel fold up neatly before lying down against the ground next to the messy pile of clothes that he'd set on the ground once taken off. Setting down his bathroom slippers next to his folded towel and pile of clothes, Reese lastly discarded his multi-colored underwear before once again waving his wand so that his clothes were neatly folded up into a small pile and not the messy one it once was. Raising his arms above his head in order to stretch his tired bones, Reese took the necessary steps for him to sink down in the tub, releasing a heavy sigh as he felt the hot water immediately get to work on relaxing him from the stress that he'd been taking on all day long. With a wave of his wand, the running bath-water stopped just as the large tub filled up with water. Setting his wand down on top of his change of clothes, Reese groaned as he once again stretch his body that was submerged beneath the hot water while the surface of the water was nearly hidden due to the many scented bubbles he'd administered to the bath water as soon as he came in. Sure, he could get in trouble for being in the prefects bathroom since he wasn't a prefect, but that didn't worry Reese at all as he knew he could certainly charm his way out of the situation or even bribe the person at the risk of losing Slytherin a few house points and gaining himself a detention. Usually it all just depended on the house of the person who caught him, he'd certainly get some sort of repercussion for breaking a rule if the prefect was in any other house other than Slytherin.

"Geez, I could fall asleep just like this..." Reese mentioned, biting his bottom lip as he leaned his head back against the edge of the tub and further let his body relax in the hot water, only to pick his head up a moment later, reminded by his conscience that he couldn't stay here for longer than he'd planned as he had a schedule to keep and it was important that he didn't break it. Using his personal loofah to wash with his favorite cinnamon-scented body wash, Reese would spend a total of about 30 minutes in the bath washing both his body and hair (using a bit of magical assistance to wash his back) before he simply submerged himself beneath the surface completely to make sure every bit of the soap was rinsed clean from his body. Now that he was done, it was time to get back to the Slytherin Common Room so he could study.

After having taken care of his oral hygiene and dressing himself, Reese was on his way back to the common room with his wand and clothes in hand, his towel draped over his shoulders to ensure it wouldn't fall down and potentially give away the fact that somebody had used the prefects bathroom without permission. Quietly, and stealthily he made his way back down the many flights of stairs it took to get up to the fifth floor where the prefects bathroom was located, heading all the way back down into the Dungeons where he came upon a wall which he was quite familiar with having been here but so many times since he'd been in school. Reciting the password to the wall, it moved aside and gave him passage into the Slytherin Common Room, feeling the cool temperatures immediately against his bare chest as he made his way fully into the room, finding a fire burning in the fire-place, thankfully someone had left it burning.

Rushing up toward the boys dormitory, Reese set aside his laundry and hung his towel up to dry while holding his wand in between his teeth. Reaching over to grab his school bag, Reese pulled out a medium sized book that was titled: Guide to Advanced Transfiguration. Grabbing also a bottle of ink and a roll of parchment to use for jotting down notes, Reese turned around on the balls of his feet and exited the boys dormitory just as quietly as he entered, not wanting to wake any of the guys up who were sleeping. Heading back into the common room, Reese picked out a comfortable looking spot on the longest couch, propping his bare feet up as he laid himself down upon it, opening up his book to the chapter on conjuring and propping it against his lap which would hold it steady. "Accio apple." he voice, pointing his wand toward a bowl of fruit that resided across the room from where he was which was closer toward the opposite end of the room by the fireplace. Once the juicy green apple floated his way, he grabbed it out of the air and inspected it before he bit into it, giving his attention back to the book as he laid there reading every line thoroughly to make sure he understood what it was saying to him.

But that, was about 20 minutes ago. Reese had underestimated his level of tiredness today and had fallen asleep while studying his book. He lay upon the couch with his right hand laying against his chiseled abdomen and his left hand laying behind his head against the pillow to further cushion his head. Reese was having fun in dreamland, and it was made quite obvious by the smile on his face as well as the hint of arousal bulging against his pajama bottoms that was now visible since his book had fallen over onto the floor somehow while he slept.
