Lily Luna Potter was born on May 19, 2008 to Harry and Ginevra Potter. She was the only daughter born to them, and was enveloped into the family as the third child. Harry and Ginny had previously given birth to James Sirius and Albus Severus, leaving Lily the final child to enter their tight-knit family. Lily was always loved in their home, and felt it thoroughly. She and her brothers got along famously as children, though she tended to be pinned against in the idea of being the baby. Lily was continuously coddled and it was evident she didn't like it. She displayed gestures which only proved her annoyance with being treated such. Her family members continued to make her feel overly-loved. It got to a point that it actually did become a bad thing.

When Lily was ten, and Albus was going off to Hogwarts with James, she experienced for the first time that the attention was not all about her. Instead, she watched as Albus and James boarded the Hogwarts Express and her parents seemed thrilled for them. In fact, her mother lost hold of Lily's hand because she was so excitedly waving both of her own toward her sons. Lily felt left out at that time, and she ran away. She found herself lost in an alleyway in London and remained there for several days. Her parents had been searching for her for a very long time, and it wasn't until Albus and James were called from Hogwarts to help that Lily was found. When she was found, her brothers told her not to run off and expressed their love for her. Her parents of course grounded her until Christmas, but she learned a great lesson that the attention could not always be on her just because she was the baby. She had fought for so long for her parents to treat her that way, and once she did, she disliked it. Lily learned immensely from that situation.

But, she would learn even more the following year when she headed off to Hogwarts. A man, Teddy Lupin, who'd become part of their family, was there to see her off. Lily had a crush on Ted as a child, and never seemed to make it fade. Before crossing onto the platform of 9 3/4, she sneaked a kiss for Teddy before heading off. It was made in secret, and whether or not Ted ever told anyone she wasn't sure. Still, Lily was certain that Teddy would never look at her the same. At Hogwarts, she was sorted into Gryffindor along with her eldest brother, James. Lily made a few fast friends, including the youngest of her Weasley cousins, like Hugo. Lily awaited until Christmas to send off any letters to her family or to even speak to them. Her parents were angry to not have received notice of her days at Hogwarts, but they understood when she came home as she explained her need for freedom. That Christmas, she and Ted talked about how Ted didn't see her that way. She was heartbroken.

Lily became the ultimate heartthrob at Hogwarts, though. Although she was still hung up on Teddy, Lily frequently ventured into romantic advances with others. She made friends from some and enemies from others, but her explorations in the love department made her have a very positive outlook on life. She remained a sweet girl, though able to flirt. She has now developed a school of thought in which she admires older men like Teddy Lupin, and isn't afraid to keep waiting until she appears old enough in their, or his, eyes.

Entering her fifth year at Hogwarts, Lily is preparing for her O.W.L.'s like her other classmates. She is a bright young woman, who also juggles quidditch with her studies. Lily has proven herself worthy of life itself and continues to demonstrate devotion and passion within herself.
