PERSONALITY:
Carter Melinda Russo has trust issues with people. Her family has given her every reason not to trust anyone. If she does trust anyone it took a while for them to earn her trust. She doesn’t have many friends. Her only friends are Michael Cadwallader and Frank Longbottom. She hasn’t tried to branch out at all as she mainly keeps to herself. Her family makes it hard to get close to anyone. If she hadn’t met Michael when she was six she wouldn’t be friends with him or Frank. Carter is a very shy girl. She doesn’t stand up for herself. She tries to keep away from people as her family has always beaten her for how she thought. She believes that her family is wrong. That muggles aren’t bad and that wizards shouldn’t dominate over them that they should live in peach with them. When you finally get her to open up she is very sweet and hard headed. That is if you can gain her trust.
She is very smart though and loves learning new things. She is constantly reading when she wasn’t flying. Though now she has stopped flying to keep her baby safe. She has a very motherly nature as she is always worried about younger kids at the school. She cares about everyone including her family even though they hurt her. She believes that everyone, when given a chance, can change for the better, though she plans on keeping her baby away from her family until they do. She doesn’t trust them around her unborn child after what they did to her. She wants to protect her child from all harm. Because Carter is kind some people like to take advantage of her. This is another reason why Carter doesn’t trust easily. After years of being kind and taken advantage of she has started to watch people more closely and wait before she ever trust someone. She isn’t trying to be rude to people she just wants to protect herself from getting hurt though she keeps talking to her family trying to get them to change.

HISTORY:
Carter Melinda Russo was born on May 5th. She is the middle child of Anthony and Lisa Russo. She has an older brother name Sean Russo. Soon she was joined by her next brother name Spencer Russo. Spencer is a year younger than Carter. Sean is a year older than Carter. Carters parents were in Slytherin and they believe that only purebloods should go to Hogwarts. Carter always felt that this was wrong.
When Carter turned elevan she was sorted into Gryffindor. Her parents were very upset that she wasn't in Slytherin like Sean. When she came home her parents threw her out. Ever since then Carters life has gone downhill. She can't buy her school supplies. She eats whatever she can get from stores without paying for. At least it was only during the summer. She hides it by being happy at school. A year later Carters youngest brother Spencer was sorted into Slytherin.
Through her hogwarts years her grades never slipped. When she didn't have her books she just said her parents never bought hers. Which meant she got copies teachers had laying around. After her third year her parents invited her back inside. The only reason though was so that her father and older brother could rape and beat her. According to her father this was her punishment for not being in Slytherin.
After her fourth year her aunt came over to visit and saw what was happening to Carter. She talked to the ministry and they let Carters Aunt Maria take her away from the home. Carter is now entering her seventh year and is still living with her Aunt Maria. Her brothers and father would find her when she is out and about and beat her. Carter will just tell her Aunt Maria that she fell. She is also pregant and one of her fathers death eater friends is the father. She was raped sadly and is a month pregant.
