the entrance way leading from the lake to the great hall is here. students often gather here while waiting to enter the great hall for meals.

the great hall has been restored to its former glory, enticing the school's first years with the sorting hat at the front and candles floating mid-air beneath a starry sky.

the dungeons are dimly lit by torches among the walls, and follow trails underneath the school. the slytherin common room can be found here.

in a wing off the beaten path lie the offices of the professors. they are all gathered for more productivity. once a professor is created, please pm a staff member so that you can get your own office here.

all classes at hogwarts can be found here. the sign-up sheets for classes can be found posted by the professor of said class in the sub-board. professors, once you are accepted, please pm a staff member to ensure your classroom is created here.

sneaking about at night isn't recommended. however, students tend to 'sleep walk' to this side of the castle to get a quick snack.

the nurses in the wing are very helpful and considerate of student needs. please show them respect as they tend to your injuries and illnesses.

often students don't find themselves here unless extremely bored or punished with polishing the awards won by those before them.

whether you're grabbing a good read for self-enforced reasons or because you're doing a report on werewolves, all the information you could possibly find will be here.

for our special students, the prefects bathroom is available. all of those not of prefect rank, or head boy or girl, are not permitted here.

gazing at the stars is a magnificently brilliant thing to do, and most students do it here.

this tower for the ravens is located on the west side of the castle. it's rumored that there is no password to enter the common room, only a riddle that continuously changes.

to find clothing for wear outside of hogwarts, wizards and witches often venture here. they even have socks that scream when they're too dirty.

honeydukes is the finest sweetshop in all of the wizarding world. it plays hosts to treats such as chocolate frogs, bertie bott's every flavoured beans, and all other types of candies.

the tea shop is very cozy inside, making it a place that couples often take into consideration when deciding locations for dates.

ollivander the wand maker continues to reside here, ensuring each student who sees him leaves with a wand. remember, the wand chooses the wizard.

the shrieking shack, still rumored to be haunted, is a place that some students actually enjoy hanging out at.

the hog's head is a dingy, old pub run by Aberforth Dumbledore. While he is very old, he actually runs a decent business. The people that venture to the pub, though, are a little sketchy.

the three broomstick's inn and pub is a rather cozy place that is popular to students, especially males, particularly because a lovely maiden, madam rosmerta, runs the place.

this part of the wizarding world is very sketchy, and not recommended to those on the side of good. it is rumored that some death eaters have retreated here since the downfall of the dark lord.

all wizarding families live, for our site's sake, here. please pm a staff member to have your home made. you must have at least 1 other person to rp with in your family, ie. sibling, parent, etc. to have a home made. provide a brief description of your home, a picture if you'd like, and your house's name.

st. mungo's is the only fully-operated hospital in the wizarding world. they treat everything from colds, reversed hexes, aid with pregnancies, and much more.

this is the wizarding prison, where the darkest of people sit waiting for the end of days. don't feel bad - they deserve it.

wizarding law! the ministry sets decrees for people to follow. however, the ministry has changed drastically since there are no evil persons trying to take over.

those who make journalism a career generally report here, to the office of the daily prophet. there are different sections of the newspaper, so there are a ton of workers here.

havering is a great place to venture the outdoors, as it has large plains, as well as wooded areas and a swift river.

smeltings is a private school available in the area.

surrey is where harry potter's childhood location, little winging, can be found. many witches and wizards that have migrated into muggle society moved here because of its history with mr. potter.

this is the muggle side of the leaky cauldron. oftentimes, wizards coming from the muggle world travel down this side of the road to get into diagon alley. the knight bus also travels down this road when carrying magical ones to the wizarding world.

purge and dowse, ltd. is actually a front for muggles. it is to prevent them from seeing the sign of st. mungo's. many wizards who think muggles are funny stand in front of the abandoned department store and watch muggles stare.
